About the Annual Conference

You are cordially invited to participate in our 2018 Annual Conference. Our theme is “Strategic Solutions for a Healthier Florida.” The Annual Conference is the premier educational and networking meeting for Florida’s free/charitable clinics and networks, and their partners. This year's conference will be geared towards providing professional incite on topics of operational/administrative policies and best practices for addressing common issues/barriers.

Every year the Annual Conference brings together executive directors, clinical coordinators, development staff, volunteer providers, and board members, as well as leaders of local and statewide health organizations, for nearly two days of learning, dialogue, and mutual support. This year's attendees can expect to participate in a variety of sessions from achieving positive health outcomes to social entrepreneurship.

We are anticipating over 200 attendees this year and look forward to seeing you there! 

New this Year!

Through a joint partnership with Americares, FAFCC will be offering an Emergency Preparedness Workshop as a pre-conference event for all interested attendees. This will be an all-day bootcamp that will help clinics develop and improve their tool-set in response to emergencies such as a hurricane or epidemic. With a value of $700, all conference attendees are welcome to participate in this day of learning at no additional cost.

 

This will be offered the day before the Annual Conference on Wednesday, September 5th, from 10am to 6pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. If you are interested, please be sure to mark that you will be attending on the registration form.

Registration Information - Pricing Information

Early Bird Registration will go from June 1 - July 15 for FAFCC members ($200). Registration is online and you may pay by credit card or check.

Normal Conference registration for FAFCC members will be $250.00 ($280.00 for non-members). FOR MEMBERS, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOGGED IN TO THE MEMBERS ONLY PORTAL IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR MEMBER RATE. Registration is online, but you may pay by credit card or check. Online registration is available until 8/01/2018. A $25 cancellation fee will apply to any registration that is cancelled on or prior to 8/27/2018; cancellations after 8/28/2018 will not receive a refund. Click on the button below to register.

Hotel Registration

FAFCC has reserved a room block at Rosen Shingle Creek for a nightly rate of $125.00 plus tax. Individuals or organization may book online or by phone. Please note: if you are 501(c)3 organization, please make sure to call Rosen Shingle Creek at 1-866-996-6338 or 407-996-6338 in order to notify them of your tax exempt status and reserve your room. You will be required to email, fax, or mail proof of your 501(c)3 status. Additionally, the payment method must match the organization in order to receive the tax exemption. When booking by phone, please make sure to mention you are with the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics’ block.

The FAFCC room rate is available the three days before and after the conference. Complimentary self-parking is available to overnight guests. You must book by August 15th to secure a room with the FAFCC Conference block.
